We will be having 2 divisions, Competitive and Recreational. The upper level with be normal hockey, as in score away! The Rec division will be played with the 'One goal" per player rule. You can register either as a player or register a whole team. Costs will be $75 per player or $950 for a whole team. The goal will be balanced teams in the Rec division, so all players and teams in that division will be evaluated for fairness and balance by the Tournament Committee. Anyone interested in have a preformed or prepaid team please call Frank Stoneman @ 322-2978   Registration is NOW OPEN!   You may register either as a player to be placed on a team, or as part of a pre-formed and pre-paid team! If you are playing on a preformed/paid team you must still register, but you will not be charged a fee. To register now click HERE! Winter Registration is now OPEN!  Posted by: FMHA BOD Saturday, August 28, 2010 Registration for the FMHA Winter 2010 hockey season is now open.   We will be trying to have four tiers! We play twice a week with the season starting around October 10th and ending in late February or early March depending on ice availability and the final number of teams.    Cost is $610 for skaters and $410 for goalies. There are discounts if you sign up early...the closer you get to Oct 4th when registration closes, the closer to the full price you will be so SIGN UP EARLY! You can make an initial payment of about one half your fees at time of registration and the remainder is due on or before December 1st! You can make payments online after the initial deposit anytime you want to using your player account log in.   Registration Step #1 - Register as a player or coach with USA Hockey. You will need your USAH Confirmation Number to register with FMHA. Annual Meeting Date!  Posted by: Keith Friday, August 27, 2010 The Fairbanks Men's Hockey Association 2010 Annual meeting will be held Wednesday September 29th, at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held as always in the Auditorium at the Noel Wien Library. The Library is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Airport Way and Cowles St. There will be elections for the BOD seats that are up this season (Three VP's and Registrar). We will  be discussing the plans for this season and it's your chance to tell us how you would like to see things done! If that wasn't enough to get you there, there will be a door prize or two and first dibs on signing up for our Annual "Knock The Rust Off" Free Open Skates. Reminder that anyone interested in running for one the BOD slots must must notify us in writing or by email before Sept 15th. You can email any of the BOD members and we will get our name on the ballot. To run for office you must have played last season or already registered for this season. What's up with FMHA you ask?  Posted by: Keith Thursday, August 19, 2010 We're still alive and kicking! The BOD recently met and worked on plans for this winters season.  We're hoping to have three tiers of play this season if we can get enough sign-ups. Registration will be open shortly for our Winter League. We will also be holding a 3 day fun tournament the first weekend of October. Sign ups will be out shortly for it also.     ALL registrations will be done online this season! You will need to register with USA Hockey as a player before you register with us! We will be offering a split payment plan where you can pay half down, and then must have the balance paid off by December 1st.  Hopefully this will help make hockey more affordable for many of you!   The Winter season will start around the 10th of October. Sign-ups will be open until October 4th...We think we are going to have a early sign up incentive.....more details TBA.   The FMHA Annual Meeting will be in late September, the exact date will be posted as soon as we confirm it. There are 3 VP slots and the Registrars position up for election at this meeting.
