I want to say how thankful I am for how supportive the hockey community
has been during Bailey's fight with leukemia. I have been fortunate enough
to introduce Bailey to many wonderful people I have met through playing
hockey. Bailey loves the sport and the support he has received has been
indescribable. I know the physical and mental strength I have witnessed
in Bailey during his treatment can be attributed to his experiences with
hockey. While the sport has provided many enjoyable experiences for my
family, I am more fortunate for the friends I have met through it.
Thank you for your generous support,
John Carter & Family

Wow....thanks to all of you who came out last weekend for the Midnight Sun Fundraiser Hockey Tournament! The event which was hosted by The Oldtimers Hockey League was a great success. The event raised around $3000 to help the Carter family and his son Bailey who is fighting leukemia in Seattle.

Due to low registrations we will not be having a summer league. If you are one the few who did register, please email and let me know if you want a refund or credit for next winter.

Well done Fairbanks Adults at the Labatts Tournament! Of the 8 teams we sent, 4 made the Championship games. Making the Championships were; Women's Bronze, Men's Intermediate, Men's Bronze 30+, and Men's Novice Teams. The Women's Bronze and Men's Novice teams won their divisions. Congrats! The Men's Intermediate lost in overtime after coming back from a 3 goal deficit to tie the game with just seconds remaining and their goalie pulled. I think all who were involved enjoyed themselves. I will post pictures of the teams as soon as some of them get sent to me! Hint Hint!
Surprise!
